“Tucson’s Hispanic Voices” is a weekly one-hour radio talk show that aims to give “voice” to Hispanics by bringing diversity into the conversation. We’ll talk local politics, music, food, art and culture and share those stories through the lens of how Hispanics see everyday life in our beloved Old Pueblo.
Host Steve Nunez is a former award-winning TV News Reporter & Anchor. He’s a 6th generation Tucsonan who was born and raised in the heart of downtown. He has an intense passion for the community. Steve knows how to bring interviews to life and ask questions that induce a respectful conversation that both educates and keeps the listeners’ attention.
With the 2021 Presidential Election fast approaching, Tucson’s Hispanic Voices talks to Aqui Se Vota, a statewide campaign that focuses on registering Latino/Hispanic voters and making sure they show up on election day to actually cast their vote. We’ll also talk about the importance of voting “Yes” on Prop. 481, which gives Pima Community College more spending authority on programs that benefit students.
