Itzhak Perlman is a prodigious talent on the violin who overcame a
diagnosis of polio at a young age to become one of the most renowned
classical musicians in the world. He has played around the globe with
the world’s leading orchestras, collaborated with several other notable
musicians, and gone on to work as a successful conductor. By 2013, he
had received 15 Grammy Awards and has won 4 Emmys for his work in music.
