Chuck Blahous – Rebecca Costa

Charles Paul “Chuck” Blahous III is a research fellow at Stanford University’s Hoover Institution, specializing in domestic economic policy, a U.S. public trustee for the Social Security and Medicare programs, and a former (2001-2007) Special Assistant to U.S. President George W. Bush for Economic Policy within the National Economic Council. From 2007 to 2009, Blahous served as deputy director of President Bush’s National Economic Council and in 2001, he served as the executive director of the bipartisan President’s Commission to Strengthen Social Security.
