Doug and Rick helped launch the campaign. Crissy (Olympic gold medal swimmer) is the spokesperson for the campaign. Deb Weisel of Tagline Media produced the PSA’s that will be aired on TV and radio. Catalina Rotary Club, Nova Home Loans, Watson Chevrolet, Royal Automotive, Jim Click Automotive, and Pima Medical Institute were the first organizations to contribute. Over $85,000 has been pledged so far funding half of the pools that are closed. “Businesses create jobs, pay taxes and contribute above and beyond to our community. This is an example of the business community and the city partnering so that kids can swim this summer,” said Martin.
