“The Conscience of the Constitution” by Timothy Sandefur

I have been in broadcasting since 1989, and teaching Con Law since 1996, but today will be the first day I interview a former student about his book. In this case the student, Tim Sandefur, was a pain-in-the-neck in class because he always knew when I had said something even slightly wrong and he was an originalist’s originalist and I am accepting of the death of substantive due process.

Nevertheless Sandefur has writtena wonderful book for Cato: The Conscience of the Constitution: The Declaration of Independence and the Right to Liberty. Tune in today as he joins me for the entire show, and do order and absorb his wonderful book.
