Megan McCardle’s “The Up Side Of Down”

Now here is a book that will grab you and not let you go. Megan McCardle’s The Up Side of Down took me on a red eye a week ago Thursday night to New and back again on Saturday afternoon, happy to be flying the whole time so I could keep reading. ”There is much and more you do not know John Snow,” is a favorite line of mine from Game of Thrones, and McCardle’s book is full of things I did not know and which I suspect you don’t either. A terrific writer and reporter, McCardle combines an eye for an interesting portrait and key new studies, with touches of memoir and public policy and produces a terrific read.

She will be my guest in hour two today. Don’t miss it. Her impossible to remember Twitter handle is @asymmetricinfo.
